Gastronomy and Wine Tourism
The gastronomic experiences in the Tierras del Ebro region are always assured. In fact, both restaurateurs and cooking groups in each municipality regularly organize many activities to promote local products and attract the attention of both locals and visitors.
The cuisine of author coexists perfectly with the more traditional cuisine that has inherited the recipes of our ancestors. The Tierras del Ebro region has, at the moment, three restaurants awarded with a Michelin Star: restaurant Les Moles, commanded by chef Jeroni Castell, located in Ulldecona; restaurant Villa Retiro, promoted by chef Fran López, in the town of Xerta; and recently restaurant l'Antic Molí, also located in Ulldecona, which has achieved this recognition by the hand of chef Vicent Guimerà.
