WINE TOURISM DAYS

Wine is increasingly present in the lives of the people of the Tierras del Ebro region. The regions of Terra Alta and the Ribera d'Ebre have put their vineyard craftsmanship into value and have turned this tradition into a social meeting point.

Thus, during the year, very attractive feasts and festivities are celebrated, like the glamorous "Nit de las Garnatxes Blanques" (Night of the White Garnacha Grapes) in the Celler Cooperatiu of Gandesa in November, the "Eclipsi de les Garnatxes Blanques" (the Eclipse of the White Garnacha Grapes), taking advantage of this astronomical phenomenon, or other more traditional feasts such as the opening of the wine amphoras coinciding with the celebration of "La Passió" in Vilalba dels Arcs or the fun "Festa de l'Aiguardent" (Feast of the Schnapps) in Prat de Comte, a unique opportunity to know the process of distillation of this drink so typical of Southern Catalonia.

If you want to know more, we invite you to know firsthand the festivities that you should not miss.
