CANOEING

It is one of the most accessible water sports for all audiences and in the Tierras del Ebre region, you can practice it in different ecosystems. River and sea; sea and river.

All those wishing to know the stretches that cross the interior of the Ribera d'Ebre and Baix Ebre regions choose the route that goes from Vinebre to Móra la Nova or the one that unites Miravet and Benifallet, of approximately three hours duration. The narrowness of the river at the height of Pas de l'Ase or the spectacular scenery when the waters border the Serra de Cardó mountains are some of the attractions of this area of wild and mountainous geography. Also the lower part of the river, which goes from Amposta to the mouth, passing Sant Jaume d'Enveja and Deltebre, offers a totally different landscape, with rice fields on both sides.

If you want to paddle in the sea, the coves of l'Ametlla de Mar are splendid to travel with this type of boat, since it will allow you to access spaces where it is not possible to do it on foot. If your dream is to paddle in the sea, you can do it in the Alfacs and Fangar bays, where there are companies to rent canoes offering you the possibility of touring the waters that surround the Ebro Delta.
