SAILING
The Tierras del Ebro region is a delight to sail. The experts very much appreciate the winds that blow in the bays that form the Delta. In winter the dominant wind is the `Mistral´ - a northwest wind that beats the area with strong bursts that run down the stretch of the Ebro river - and in summer, the breezes.
The two bays, Alfacs and Fangar, attenuate the waving and allow sailing without danger, taking advantage of all the force of the wind. This is why athletes from other regions and parts very often come to these lands for sailing!
