The climate and the great variety of flowers that grow in Arnes – within the Tierra Alta region –, especially rosemary, thyme, lavender and almond blossom, make it an ideal place to collect top quality honey and excellent flavour. And, like Arnes, the Perelló has become one of the last places with artisan beekeepers in Tarragona. The "honey village", as this village is known for its long tradition in beekeeping, is the first producer of orange and rosemary honey in the Catalan territory, and one of the only places where honey is made in winter.
