Muntera Hill now only hosts the increasingly degraded ruins of the old town, among which the old church of Sant Pere - a baroque building from the end of the XVIII century - stands out, damaged yet emblematic. The whole of the “Pueblo Viejo” (Old Town) of Corbera d'Ebre was declared Historical Place of Cultural Interest, as Historical Place (20-07-92), by the Government of Catalonia. It has also become a monument to peace and a must visit for anyone who wants to know the disasters of war.
