Cala de Pixavaques
Cala de Pixavaques is a small beach (70 m long by 40 m wide) in L’Ametlla de Mar (Terres de l'Ebre). It borders on Cala Pepo beach, which is very close to the urban centre and has numerous services, making it very attractive for families.
It is easily accessible both on foot and by car. It offers various services, including a bar-restaurant, lifeguard and rescue service, showers, toilets, daily cleaning, litter bins and signage and is accessible for people with functional diversity.
It is also very close to the L’Ametlla Village Platja, a 1st-category campsite that also offers a wide range of services, and its proximity to the Calafat Yacht Club, less than two kilometres away, means you can often see kayaks, canoes and other leisure craft in its waters.
Cala de Pixavaques can be reached from the motorway (Exit 39 L’Ametlla de Mar) and the N-340 main road. By train, take the Tarragona-Tortosa line and get off at L’Ametlla de Mar station. There is also a interurban bus service.
