Platja de Capri
In an urban area on the seafront promenade of La Ràpita, Platja de Capri is an attractive beach some 70 m long by 30 m wide with fine golden sand, calm waters and a wide range of facilities. The fact that it is in an urban area means it has many services, including nearby car parks, bars, restaurants, beach bars, toilets, showers, litter bins, boat hire, etc. It is also a very family friendly beach that slopes gently into the sea, making it ideal for children and people with reduced mobility, who can also take advantage of an access ramp.
Summer evenings on Capri Beach are much appreciated for the gentle sea breeze that wafts over visitors as they enjoy the intense Mediterranean sun and the sunsets that are reflected like a mirror in the still waters of Els Alfacs Bay, an area of great ecological value due to the large number and variety of aquatic birds it hosts. It is a magnificent natural viewpoint!
Just over a kilometre inland, still in the town, you can enjoy another splendid panoramic view from the neoclassical gazebo. Together with the arcades from the same period, they are one of La Ràpita’s most emblematic architectural heritages.
