Platja de les Avellanes is in the heart of L’Ampolla, making it a popular urban beach accessible to everyone. Lined by an attractive seafront promenade, we recommend stopping at the viewpoint to take the best snapshots, especially at sunrise and sunset. Its location means it has all the necessary services and is particularly noteworthy for the wide variety of restaurants and bars and the excellent traditional local cuisine they offer.

It has repeatedly been awarded the Blue Flag for its high quality and the range of services and facilities available. It even offers Wi-Fi, as well as the usual lifeguard post, beach bars, public showers, toilets, foot washing facilities, etc. The beach is also wheelchair accessible.

Some 200 m long by 40 m wide, Les Avellanes Beach hosts many sports tournaments and activities, including volleyball and beach football, as well as water sports.

It can be reached via the N-340 main road and from Exit 39A on the motorway.
