Cala Xelin
Cala Xelín in L’Ametlla de Mar is described as one of the most idyllic beaches in the whole of the Terres de l'Ebre. Why? Well, probably because it is a beach surrounded by vegetation with a seabed of pebbles and gravel and fresh, crystal clear waters. The cove, which can be accessed on foot or by car, is located between the municipality of L'Ametlla de Mar and the Les Tres Cales residential estate.
Its dimensions, about 100 m long by 10 m wide, make it the ideal cove if you’re looking for a certain tranquillity. It has a shower, foot washers and litter bins and is cleaned daily during the summer season. It is a popular spot, but not usually overcrowded, which is much appreciated.
Cala Xelín is also a good place for snorkelling and admiring the rich coastal marine fauna. Water sports fans will find plenty to do at L’Ametlla de Mar Yacht Club just two kilometres away.
