The “Casa de Fusta” (Wooden House) is one of the most emblematic buildings of the Ebro Delta. It was built in the late 20's of the last century by a group of hunters who settled in the Delta attracted by the quantity and variety of birds that housed this natural space.

At present, it has been prepared to host the Ebro Delta Interpretation Centre, and one of its rooms hosts the ornithological museum,

a representative collection of the bird species of birds that live in the Delta.

Just opposite the “Casa de Fusta” stands an observation tower from which you can see a wide perspective of the l'Encanyissada pond
