The Iberian village of Moleta del Remei, located on the southern slope of the Sierra del Montsià. It is an enclave assigned by the classic authors of the Iberian tribe of the Ilercavones. A strategic point of commercial exchange, between the river Ebro River and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a walled centre on which small nearby enclaves depended.
