Pastissets
The four southernmost regions of Catalonia maintain a good cultural cohesion. This union is manifested in their products, especially in traditional pastries, in which we highlight `pastissets´, also known as "casquetes" or "panadons". They are small sweet pies, of Arab origin, made with flour, oil, sugar and `mistela´ spirit and traditionally stuffed with spaghetti squash jam, although now they are also filled with cottage cheese, cream, chocolate ... At present, its production has spread throughout the territory, and have become one of the most representative pasta of the province.
