The small beach of Ribes Altes in L'Ametlla de Mar (northern Terres de l'Ebre) is a combination of fine sand and pebbles. It has no services and tends to be uncrowded and quiet.

Just 50 m long by 10 m wide (approximately), Platja de Ribes Altes beach is next to the Les Roques Daurades residential estate. It is enclosed and the waters have a moderate swell due to gusts of wind that can be quite strong.

It is also not far from L’Ametlla de Mar Marina where, apart from its 225 moorings, you’ll find facilities for various water sports, including dinghy sailing lessons.
