A Cel Obert is a Festival of ephemeral architecture in Tortosa whose objective is to turn unknown historical spaces into artistically created scenes, whilst at the same time affirming the town’s architectural heritage and bringing ephemeral art closer to people of all ages. The festival strengthens cultural and tourist sectors, opening the doors of its patios and cloisters to the public. Many of these places are closed to the public the rest of the year and the Festival is a good opportunity to discover this art-filled heritage.

The Festival aims to promote the interest of townspeople and visitors in the architectural and cultural heritage of the city of Tortosa.
