Platja dels Hortets, also known as Platja Juanito or Platja de Miami in the municipality of La Ràpita (Terres de l'Ebre) is a very popular beach with families. Located a short distance from the town centre, it is about 160 m long by 32 m wide. It has a wide variety of services, including signage, parking, lifeguard and rescue service, access for people with reduced mobility, parasol and sun lounger hire, showers and portable toilets, a kiosk selling ice cream and refreshments, etc.

To these conveniences, add the tranquillity of its crystalline waters, the salubriousness of its fine golden sand, which simultaneously combines whitish and yellowish tones, and its strategic location. All this makes Els Hortets a very busy beach, especially during the high summer season.

Not only that, Els Hortets Beach is less than a kilometre from La Ràpita Yacht Club which, in addition to having 489 moorings, offers a wide variety of water sports. There are also two campsites near the beach, El Castro and Els Alfacs, Category 3 and 2, respectively, which complement the hotel offer in the area.
