The mouth of the Ebro river is subject to continuous transformations as a consequence of the variation of the flow of the river, the amount of sediment transported by the water or the maritime conditions. The “Gola de Migjorn” Is one of the old mouths of the Ebro river, currently obstructed by a barrier of sediments. This space borders Buda Island and ends on a long beach.
