The area of the Ebro river mouth comprises three protected natural areas of great importance: the “Garxal”, San Antonio island and La Buda island. The two islands have restricted access and to enter, you must request authorization of the Natural Park. Garxal beach, on the other hand, can be visited by cycle or walking. Several explanatory panels of the fauna and flora of the area have been made available, as well as viewpoints of birds that allow observing the birds that live there. Near Garxal Beach is the “Muntell Gros” or “De Les Verges”, a fluvial dune 4 meters high from where you can see Buda island and the lagoon in its interior.
