Of recent creation, the “Museo de la Mar de l’Ebre” (Ebro Sea Museum) welcomes, on its first plant, two permanent exhibitions: "La Mar de l'Ebre: del cap de Terme a Sòl-de-riu" y "La Mar de l'Ebre: terra de pescadors i mariners", which synthesize the rich biodiversity, the importance and dangers of navigation, as well as the life forms of this coast located around the mouth of the Ebro estuary. On the ground floor, temporary activities are organized.
The museum, located in the old office building and workshops of the “Real Compañía de Canalización del Ebro” (1857-1858), near the fishing port and access to the Ebro Delta, is the starting point of several guided routes and itineraries to the city and the Ebro Delta.
