Platja de l'Estanyet in Alcanar (Terres de l'Ebre) is one of the most pristine beaches on this part of the Ebre coast and perfect for both swimming and sunbathing. It is also great for scuba diving and fishing, two popular activities often practiced there.

As its name in Catalan indicates, L'Estanyet Beach was once a wetland area with a small pond. It is a long beach, some 800 m by 40 m wide, with minimal facilities, although it does have car parking and daily cleaning. It is also close to the Càmping Estanyet and there is an excellent range of restaurants nearby.

The beach is made up of small pebbles and its waters are calm. A interesting aspect of L'Estanyet is that you can still see the machine gun nests built on the shore during the Spanish Civil War.
